Babu Jagjivan Ram spent over four decades at the highest levels of the Indian government. He is an example of the administrative competence of the Bahujan samaj. Whether as Labour Minister shaping our workers' rights or as Defence Minister during the 1971 war, he proved our people can govern with excellence.
However, his life within the Congress party also illustrates the limitations of fighting from within the oppressor's camp. Despite his immense talent and seniority, the Brahminical forces ensured he never became Prime Minister. It is the ultimate proof that the ruling castes will use our talent, but they will never share supreme power voluntarily.
बाबू जगजीवन राम ने भारत सरकार के उच्चतम स्तर पर चार दशकों से अधिक समय बिताया। वे बहुजन समाज की प्रशासनिक क्षमता के एक उदाहरण हैं। चाहे श्रम मंत्री के रूप में हमारे श्रमिकों के अधिकारों को आकार देना हो या 1971 के युद्ध के दौरान रक्षा मंत्री के रूप में, उन्होंने साबित किया कि हमारे लोग उत्कृष्टता के साथ शासन कर सकते हैं।
