I have often said that the Bahujan samaj is not meant to remain a beggar community; it is meant to become a ruling community. For centuries, 15% of the population has ruled over the 85%. I dedicated my life to changing this arithmetic into a political reality. We formed BAMCEF to organize the educated employees, DS4 to agitate the masses, and finally the BSP to capture power.
We did not rely on the media or the wealth of the capitalists. We built this movement on cycles, traveling from village to village, telling our people: 'Vote is your power, do not sell it.' We successfully proved that the Bahujans can stand on their own feet and seize the master key of political power. The mission is not over until the socio-economic structure of this country is entirely transformed.
