What can one say about Babasaheb? He is the sun around which the entire Bahujan movement revolves. Before him, our people were begging for concessions; Babasaheb taught us to demand our rights. He understood that the Hindu social order is a graded inequality that cannot be reformed, only annihilated.
He gave us the Constitution, securing our political and legal existence in modern India. But his greatest lesson was political independence. He warned us of the 'Chamcha Age'—the era of stooges—and told us that we must capture political power to enact lasting social change. We are merely completing the mission that he initiated.
बाबासाहेब के बारे में क्या कहा जा सकता है? वे वह सूर्य हैं जिसके चारों ओर पूरा बहुजन आंदोलन घूमता है। उनके आने से पहले, हमारे लोग रियायतों की भीख मांग रहे थे; बाबासाहेब ने हमें अपने अधिकारों की मांग करना सिखाया। वे समझते थे कि हिंदू सामाजिक व्यवस्था एक क्रमिक असमानता है जिसे सुधारा नहीं जा सकता, केवल नष्ट किया जा सकता है।
